  •  Thanks John! I appreciate your kindness, encouragement, patience and help as I try to improve my game with all these expert player members! I am glad I have found this group and feel there may be hope for me yet at winning my family competitoin one day! Plus, I am having a lot of fun getting to know everybody... Thanks for all your efforts each week to make it all work.. Emily

  •  Panera is always inviting to large groups. It can get loud if there's enough people there, but they are better lit. I can't believe they won't let a large group use that back room - especially since you're regulars there. I'll let you know if I think of anywhere else.

  •  John, thanks for the note. Sam's was pretty loud and smoky, but I haven't been to Blackstone yet. I'm arranging a tournament for some players at work, and the Embassy Suites has a large atrium with lots of tables, lots of light, no smoke, no noise, nice atmosphere. They said it would probably work best after the NCAA finals since there are usually big crowds watching the games. Cool Springs is a bit of a drive for folks in Nashville, though.
    Cheers,
