We would like to invite people to meet up at Chess Forum on 219 Thompson Street to play chess or backgammon. I host poker games at my studio a few times a week, we play from around 8pm until we get tired, often very late. Right now we play $1-2 No Limit Holdem and Im starting a $2-5 and an Omaha night soon, and a weekly Sunday $110 NL Holdem multi-table tournament. If you're into crib, then this is the only game you'll find in NYC that meets on a regular basis; every Thursday night, we'll be pegging at Pronto's Pizza. Good chat and cards together with decent pizza and drinks. In the absence of a separate pinochle group in NYC, meetups for pinochle are also  held at Pronto Pizza (or other locations) on the second Friday of every month. Cribbage and/or pinochle meetups are held on certain Sundays at various locations.
